We experienced exceptional service from Hailey helping us with prisms on the prescription eyeglasses. She was patient, kind, informative and went beyond to send a fax to another eye specialist, talking to the Dr in the clinic that day, involving the manager about our inability to get a specialist appointment for another 6 months. Jill the manager was willing to call and find us help for the worsening double vision problem. Amazingly something happened and we received a call a few days after our visit to Koch for an appointment with the specialist needed!!! Thank you all very much for this world class service and care. They help each other out during the day to make things go smoothly and on time.The optical eyeglass section is also very good and knowledgeable. The Wakefield office was incredibly kind, super polite & helpful; I got no Conveyor Belt sense while I was there, either for myself or the other patients I saw being processed. The doctor and assistant were very comforting and thorough in their diagnosis ( pink eye). She not only gave me sample, she write the prescription to my pharmacy. I really recommend this office. Additionally this office checks my eyes yearly. They have a great staff. More

Right from the start with initial evaluation followed immediately with Amy White to schedule surgery and all the details before and after including pre and post surgical procedure eye drops. Glad I chose KOCH/Dr Gerber for the cataract surgery. Dr Fantoni provided thorough follow up care after each eye surgery. The surgery location was top notch and professionally well staffed resulting in a smooth experience in and out. I would recommend the mild sedation protocol. One area that could be improved would be ability to speak to the right person in a reasonable time when calling the office. Also their portal is easy to use but the patient education documents are impossible to view. Replies to sent messages/questions are nonexistent. There was one hiccup on my first day of surgery, I was the first person in line for surgery that morning, when I got to the equipment location we found there was an equipment problem. They were able to switch quickly to the back up machine, so there were no holdups to do that. But my point is that should not have happened. More

The optical person that I see was on the phone for 3, yes, 3 hrs with my Insurance Co. with different people/ depts. Finally, the Insurance Co. called Medicare and explained the help I got last yr was dropped bc of covid ending. I paid the $192 out of pocket. Not Koch's fault. They were very helpful. The man across from us was having issues w the same Insurance co. He was there 2 hrs. So please, ask your Insurance Co. again and again what your exact benefits are and what's out of pocket for 2024. And again when you get your 2025 plan. More

My coverage for eye medicine for dry eye has been one of the most challenging! I can’t say enough about Pam in the Wakefield office for all her efforts and especially patience in trying to get what I need covered. Dr. Burn has also been extremely helpful. The staff in Wakefield recently gave me the best eyecare service ever. The folks at Reception were friendly and helpful and Dr. Tresca provided excellent care. Most noteworthy was my experience with Ms. Hicks in the Glasses Shop. She was generous enough with her product knowledge, as well as her time, to walk me through several combinations of lens-types and colors, and frames, for three pairs of glasses. Great staff, very nice facility, parking, you get it; just go. More

Dr. Fantoni and her staff were friendly and efficient, but without rushing such that I felt free to ask about anything I was interested or concerned about (even asking about an eyelid lift for my increasingly saggy lids and whom to see about something like that— not a procedure any of the doctors there do, but they can refer me to someone). The Claris Vision eyeglass shop staff were also very friendly and helpful, taking the time to double check all measurements were right and all the latest lens options were discussed while keeping in mind just how much my insurance would cover. Marc from Wakefield RI.I am So thankful for all the staff at Koch eye in Wakefield RI. I was seen this morning on an emergency basis for removal of some sand embedded in my upper eyelid. The reception staff at the front recognized how much pain i was in and expedited getting me into an exam room where i was quickly given drops to decrease the level of discomfort I was in, while i waited for Dr. Burns. Once Dr. Burns came in, she quickly and professionally found the problem and was able to remove the stone. Now at home I am pain free and so happy that the local office was there to help. More

Yesterday (4/3/23) I called the office for an appointment. After discussing the symptoms I was experiencing, the receptionist felt that it was urgent that I be seen. It was 3:45 PM. At 4:25 I was at the Koch Eye Associates office in W. Warwick. Everything from end to end was superb: Smooth check-in, excellent prep for the exam, thorough examination with complete explanation of the results. It turned out that everything was essentially normal, and my symptoms were just one of those things that go with aging. The fact that I was treated so promptly and thoroughly at the end of the day really impressed me. I recommend this practice without reservation. Thank you. More

Recommend! (This is for Koch Eye at 20 Hampton Way in Wakefield, RI) Shout out to Dr. Tess Deresienski for my eye exam and to Dorothy Silva who helped me with buying glasses. Also the receptionists were great. I appreciated everyone being masked in the building. There was one guy who I didn't appreciate as much, who did the first part of eye exam, who was kind of rude. (ie, he said my Asian name wrong, and then didn't bother apologizing / couldn't even try when I offered the correct pronunciation of my name. I could have gone about my day without the racism, my dude.) But that aside, everyone else was great. I look forward to my annual check up next year and eventually getting new glasses or lenses with Dot's help again! More

I went to Dr Burns for a regular eye exam. She found that my retinia had detached. She sent me to a retinia specialist. After many specialists, I ended up at Mass Eye and Ear. I found out that I had ocular lymphonia. After 12 treatments of radiation, I should be OK. I credit Dr Burns for her knowledge and expertise to know that I had an issue and to get me on a path to health. She is wonderful and so is her office staff. I highly recommend this practice. More

Dr. Burns has always been able to find the right course of treatment to keep my eyes healthy, and still seeing pretty sharp, especially considering my age. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Burns to any of my friends. As far as prescription glasses go, I have gotten several pair here and the last pair of wound up having scratches in them after about 4 or 5 months of wear. I brought them back, and without any discussion, or complicated processes, lenses were replaced under warranty. Couldn't ask for better service. More

Just as the July 4 three day weekend was beginning, I became concerned about a sudden change of vision in one of my eyes and, to make a long story short, my regular eye doctor (who is not affiliated with Koch) was already out of town and Koch was the only local eye specialist I reached that was willing or able to take me so late in the day - literally just before closing when there was just one doctor still in the office. Dr. Burns and the entire staff were excellent. It could’ve been a much more stressful weekend without them. More

I recently went to seacoast for a checkup and to get glasses, and was lucky enough to get an appointment with their newest addition, Dr. Levy. I'm a little finicky and picky when it comes to my healthcare, and Dr. Levy was really sweet and took the time to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions that I had. She even gave me some opinions on glasses! She is quite a gem in the small state of RI. I am actually looking forward to my next visit! :) More
