I have been coming to Dr. Furham for years and he is a great doctor. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for his new young eye tech. He was extremely rude, and very condescending. When I tried to give him my patient history to help my Dr to understand my eye ailment he said we don’t have time for that just tell me if you are taking the medications as directed. I was very taken back by his rude tone. Then when he asked me to read the eye chart I asked him if this was part of my annual eye exam. He said just read the chart, everyone who comes in here has to read the chart. When I spoke up and told him that he could be more courteous to patients he very rudely sat across from me in an extremely sarcastic, condescending nature and said fine, then what would you like to talk about today. This is the second rude snarky encounter I have had with this tech and this could not go over looked. Koch eye needs to train their staff on common courtesy. I was a loyal patients in the community supporting their business. Totally unacceptable! More

This is by far the best vision center with an absolutely wonderful staff and the doctors are topnotch! I specifically continue to drive 20 minutes to this location instead of the 5 minute drive to much closer vision centers. More

My husband and I first encountered Dr Furman when he worked at Vision World (before it changed to Vision Works). We both were so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail, that when we realized he had left there for Koch Eye, we changed too. We continue to be completely satisfied with his care—always thorough and always willing to answer questions. More

I felt like I needed to review based on my great experience, and the fact I unfortunately went into my first appointment a bit skeptical based on some of the previous reviews. My appointment was very informative, and I saw the doctor fairly quickly, who addressed my concerns and made necessary changes to my contacts and explained why. Despite it being the end of the day during a holiday week, everyone in the office was friendly. At the end of my appointment, I waited to browse through the optical shop. With Covid, only 1 person at a time is allowed, and it was approaching 5PM. They offered myself and two other people to set an appointment the same week to come back, which I appreciated. More

I took my daughter (8 y/o) here for her exam, she’s never been to an optometrist before and is completely scared of any Dr visits. The staff was great! They were very nice and talked with my daughter and told her everything they were going to do, look at, and what all the equipment was. Afterwards, the lady that works with the frames was super helpful, despite everyplace having limited selections for kids frames we found something our daughter wouldn’t mind wearing. She also did a great job explaining the sizes and how to understand what we were looking at. Definitely a great place if your kid never been to optometrist before! More

I had already scheduled my appointment when I saw the reviews and was a little disheartened, however, I had a great experience during my first visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up ordering a new pair of glasses, left the office, and decided to make a change to my order. I called the office and they were able to quickly help me with my request. So far I'm happy with my decision to visit this location. More

When I first went to them I had an eye irritation that they were able to quickly identify and treat. The doctors are attentive and knowledgeable. I was recently on vacation and forgot my contacts. The office staff worked quickly, despite being very busy wih patients, to fax my prescription to a local eyecare office who was able to fill it for me. The Koch teams’ quick action saved my day and vacation! More
