Meet Dr. Haworth

Dr. Haworth has over 40 years experience as a primary care optometrist in Rhode Island. He was raised in Cumberland and, before joining Koch Eye Associates, he owned Cumberland Hill Vision Care for 37 years. He is a member of both the Rhode Island Optometric Association as well and the American Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with family and friends. Recently, Dr. Haworth traveled to Panama to provide eye care to those in need through the Northeast Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.

Areas of Expertise

Dr. Haworth specializes in primary care optometry of all ages - from children to adults. He provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and pre- and post-operative co-management of refractive and cataract surgery patients. His practice also includes the management and treatment of ocular diseases, including glaucoma.

Education

Dr. Haworth graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1983.

"I recently had my cataracts removed by Dr. Sayegh. He did an excellent job, explained everything that would happen even through the surgery itself. Although I was a bit disappointed that I saw a different person for each testing processed two additional doctors for the follow up visits, everyone was very professional and knowledgeable in their area.
