Earle Scharff, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Earle Scharff joined the staff at Koch Eye Associates in August 2004. He received a B.A. in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. He earned a B.S. in Visual Science in 1982 and a Doctorate in Optometry in 1984 from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Scharff’s specialties are primary-care optometry, therapeutic interventions, evaluation and follow-up of cataract and refractive surgery patients, all types of contact lens fitting, with certification in orthokeratology (a new method of reducing near-sightedness using rigid gas-permeable contact lenses).

Dr. Scharff has been practicing in, and been part of, the Rhode Island Community since 1986. He is also licensed in Massachusetts. Dr. Scharff and his wife reside in Rhode Island.
