Each year on July 29th, Koch Eye Associates closes its offices to hold Koch Eye Cares Day to honor the memory of the late Dr. Peter Koch and celebrate the spirit of giving back to the community.
The day began as always with an early kick-off breakfast for all employees to gather and plan car-pools, before heading out to spend the day volunteering at seventeen non-profit organizations across the state.
Not only was this a paid day for the volunteers but in the evening the Koch family held a "summer festival" theme dinner party for staff and guests. This gave everyone an opportunity to discuss the day's achievements at the various charities and enjoy a beautiful summer evening.
July 29, 2010 was the 7th annual Koch Eye Cares Day, and a tremendously successful day all around!
