Dr. Coppolino, staff optometrist at Koch Eye Associates, is one of our dedicated eye care professionals.
Dr. Coppolino graduated from the University of Rhode Island with distinction in 1976, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1980. He has over 20 years experience in multi-disciplinary settings, three of which were spent serving our country as Chief of Optometry of a U.S. Army Health Clinic. A member of Koch Eye Associates staff since 1991, Dr. Coppolino received his 4th Optometric Recognition Award from the American Optometric Association in June 2003. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1996.
Active in his community, Dr. Coppolino is a member of the North Kingstown Rotary Club, serving as Chair of the Student and Teacher of the Month program for the 1997-98 school year. He was presented a Distinguished Service Citation in 1997 for his fundraising efforts. Dr. Coppolino is a member of the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce. In 1996 he served as a volunteer to the North Kingstown High School LINKS program, helping students select and apply to colleges. Since 1991, he has been a neighborhood March of Dimes fundraiser.
